"Only of You" is the second song on Green Day's 1,000 Hours EP, recorded in 1989. It's also the 16th song on the compilation album 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.
This could be another song written about Jennifer, the mysterious girl that rejected Billie Joe Armstrong because she didn't believe his feelings were true.
Song meaning[edit | edit source]
This is a song about love at first sight. The narrator has been in love with this girl since he first saw her. He wants to tell her, but he's too nervous to open up. Even though they have too many differences, he can't keep his mind off of her.
