"Going to Pasalacqua" is the sixth track on 39/Smooth and the compilation album 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. It is the most popular song of 39/Smooth and it is still played live by the band to date.
"Going to Pasalacqua" is about a boy who desires to sacrifice his life for a girl he loves. The song is named after the Passalacqua Funeral Chapel in Benicia, California.
