Nimrod. is the fifth studio album by Green Day. It was released on October 14, 1997 via Reprise Records. Though the album still didn't revive Green Day's sales to the level of Dookie, it did achieve critical respect and positive reaction from the hardcore fanbase. Nimrod has sold 2,000,000 units in the US and 5,000,000 worldwide as of August 2006.
