"X-Kid" is the fifth song from ¡Tré!, and the second single from the album. It comes after "Drama Queen" and is followed by "Sex, Drugs, & Violence".

On December 19, 2012, a video was uploaded on Green Day's official YouTube channel, where "X-Kid" is played on a cassette tape.[1] The song was eventually released as a single on February 12, 2013.
Song meaning[edit | edit source]
"X-Kid" is about Billie Joe Armstrong's close friend, who committed suicide in 2009. Billie stated that he didn't want to go into details as it was "too heavy".[2]
