"See You Tonight" is the first track of the second trilogy album ¡Dos!. The song is only a minute long and segues into the second track "Fuck Time".

"See You Tonight" is the shortest song ever released by Green Day, being three seconds shorter than "Take Back". "The Ballad of Wilhelm Fink" from the compilation album Short Music for Short People is 32 seconds long and is the actual shortest song of theirs.

Song meaning[edit | edit source]

"See You Tonight" is a lighthearted, acoustic song in which the narrator appears to miss someone and wonders whether they will meet up at night.

The song's tone is intentionally deceptive because once it segues into "Fuck Time", the album becomes garage rock with a wild party theme.

Live performances[edit | edit source]

Green Day has never played this song live.
