Green Day: Rock Band is a 2010 music video game developed by Harmonix, published by MTV Games, and distributed by Electronic Arts. It had a multi-platform release on the Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, and was released for the North American and PAL market in June 2010.

A free demo was made available on May 25, 2010 for the Xbox Live Marketplace and on May 27, 2010 for the PlayStation Network, in which players had the option to play two full songs, "Welcome to Paradise" and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams".[citation needed]

Setlist[edit | edit source]

The game features 47 tracks spanning the band's career, including Dookie, American Idiot, and 12 of the 18 tracks from 21st Century Breakdown (the remaining tracks are available as DLC). Green Day songs featured in previous Rock Band installments were also included in this game.

In the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, the player has the option to import the game's setlist in Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3 for a 10 dollar fee. However, it is free of charge in the "Plus" edition or if the game was pre-ordered at specific vendors.[citation needed] Wii users can only export the songs into Rock Band 3.

Main setlist[edit | edit source]

Downloadable songs[edit | edit source]

In addition to the on-disc setlist, the player can download six Green Day songs that were previously released as DLC for other Rock Band installments. All of these songs are from 21st Century Breakdown. The "Plus" edition for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 included a coupon to download these songs.[citation needed]

The first three songs, "21 Guns", "Know Your Enemy", and "East Jesus Nowhere", were released as DLC on July 9, 2009. "¡Viva La Gloria!", "Christian's Inferno", and "Last of the American Girls" were released on December 15, 2009.

The songs "Oh Love" and "Still Breathing" were released as DLC for later Rock Band installments and therefore are incompatible with Green Day: Rock Band. "Oh Love" was released as DLC for Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz and was also DLC in the later installment Rock Band 4, and "Still Breathing" was only released as DLC for Rock Band 4.
