Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, often shortened to just Austin Powers, is a 1997 spy comedy film that serves as the first installment in the titular film series. It stars Canadian SNL star Mike Myers (who also wrote and co-produced the film) as a 1960s hippie who gets transported to the '90s and must stop the sinister Dr. Evil (also Myers) from stealing nuclear weapons to get rich.

Relation to Green Day[edit | edit source]

Austin Powers uses Green Day's song "Espionage" for its soundtrack.
